Does lead exposure lead to Alzheimer’s problems?

Maybe it is so. Here is a scientific evidence of a link between lead and Alzheimer's disease.

And don't forget other important information about Alzheimer's disease...

I've wondered about this as well. My mother wasn't obese or have high cholesterol, but she did contract Parkinson's and later, Alzheimer's--both neurological diseases.

My mother was born in 1907--and lead paint was certainly used in homes and various goods.

I also noted that she was a rather "nervous, anxious" type person and I wonder if that is a precursor.

There's still so much to learn about this disease--and hopefully the more we study its origins, we can use this information to determine a cure.

Meanwhile, caregivers and their loved ones need resources to continue care every day.
